About Us

Terry & Jody Droege started TDEC, Inc. in 1994. Today, TDEC, Inc. is one of the leading electrical contracting firms in Brazoria County. Their business has grown far past their expectations and continues to be successful for many reasons.

First, they only hire qualified licensed electricians who strive to be the best in their field putting safety for themselves and co-workers in the forefront of any job.  Terry serves as President and CEO of the company handling the sales and workforce side of the business. He holds both a Master Electrician license and an Electrical Contractor license for the State of Texas. Jody serves as Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer and manages the accounting side of the business.  She holds an AAS in Business Management, an AA in Business Administration and is registered as a Certified Bookkeeper. They currently have two office staff and 6 electricians. 

Terry & Jody believe in giving back to the community that has given them so much in return.  Both are active in several organizations in the community and both have held elected official positions. They have been recognized by the Alvin-Manvel Chamber of Commerce twice as "Small Business off the Year". Terry was recently named Leader of the Year and Jody has been inducted into the Junior Achievement "Business Hall of Fame". Together, they were awarded the "Brazoria County Philanthropist of the Year".  

Safety is very important to them and to their employees. They have managed to record well over 570,000 safe hours in their 28 years of business.
